Kuvassa näkyy Merkuriuksen lisäksi ainakin kolme auringonpilkkua tai ryhmää.
Keskellä on yksinäinen suuri auringon pilkku, siita vasemmalle on pieni
auringon pilkku. Merkurius on keskellä olevasta pilkusta likimain ylöspäin.
Auringon kiekon oikeassa alakulmassa on yksi auringonpilkkuryhmä.
Mercury Transit.
In the center of the solar limb there is a large sunspot. Half way to the
left a small sunspot is also visible. Mercury is the up and slightly left
from the large sunspot. A sunspot group is also visible in the lower right
corner of the solar limb.
