The following identifications were initially suggested:
not Lar fus gra/int/fus
Lar vegae
Lar barabensis/taimyriensis
Lar argentatus x fuscus
It appears that a consensus is emerging that bird is a
L a. argentatus x f. fuscus hybrid, similar to a couple of birds seen in
Sweden and Denmark.
The following points should be noted: Size, color of back, color of feet,
broad white tips to secondary, short legs.
