Size: Larger than Tufted Duck, close to Porchard
Note: Pattern of bill, eye color and wing bars
Pictures number 3 and 5 are Common Pochard, Aythya ferina male taken for comparison at the same site and light.
Appeared to be paired with a female Pochard. Not aggressivity between this bird and male pochards. No vocalizations heard.
