The photograph shows a dark duck, which appears to be partially mallard-type, possibly a domestic mallard. The bill and size + the shape of the bird suggest that the other parent is a Mucscovy duck (Carina moschata).

Kuvassa on tumma sorsa, jossa näyttää olevan sinisorsaa, tai kesyä ankkaa. Nokan sekä linnun koon ja muodon perusteella toinen emo näyttää olevan myskisorsa.
