Common Goldeneye x Smew male

Flirting and displaying to a female goldeneye. Aggressive towards the male Goldeneye (apparently at least partially coupled with the previous one). The head appeared generally to have a green tinge, but occasionally it appeared green.

Diplay calls. Note the fast rattling sound shown in the sonogram at 0.4-1.9 sec and 3.4-4.4 sec at frequencies 1.8KHz, 2.7KHz and up.
