Curriculum Vitae, Matti Jutila

Position: Professor of Mathematics.

Scientific visits:
  • Visiting researcher at LOMI (Leningrad) 1970 and 1988
  • Institute Mittag-Leffler (Stockholm) 1877-8 and 1981
  • Nihon University (Tokyo) 1993

Field of Research: Analytic Number Theory.

    Current research interests:
  • exponential sums involving the divisor function or Fourier coefficients of cusp forms (transformations, the "Farey-method" for the estimation of such sums),
  • the additive divisor problem and analogous questions for Fourier coefficients of cusp forms,
  • Dirichlet series: Riemann zeta, Dirichlet L-functions, automorphic L-functions,
