Title: Generalizations and Applications of Entanglement Swapping
Abstract:
We present a multiparticle generalization of the scheme of
entanglement swapping and highlight its applications in quantum
information processing. We also present a generalization of
entanglement swapping which can be used for local purification
of entanglement and show that a new measure of entanglement is
conserved in the process. To end, we also illustrate some physical
implementations of the above schemes.

Title: Field Theory for Coherent Photoassociation of a BoseEinstein Condensate
Abstract:
We apply a cubic field theory for the analysis of photoassociation of a
BoseEinstein condensate. We find that, by adiabatically sweeping the
frequency of the driving laser, a condensate of atoms may be converted
rapidly to a condensate of molecules. Using the corresponding classical
field theory, we next study a system of atomic and molecular condensates in
equilibrium. All equilibria except the special case with only molecules are
prone to an instability whereby the atoms and the molecules collect in
dense clumps.
