Optical lightcurves of Blazars

The lightcurves below were obtained using the 1.03 m telescope at Tuorla Observatory, Finland, and the 35cm telescope at the KVA observatory on La Palma, Canary islands, Spain. All data were taken using the R-filter.

Most of the monitored sources are BL Lacertae objects listed in Costamante & Ghisellini (2002, A&A 384, 56) as potential TeV sources (the "TeV BL Lacs"). In addition, data of current monitoring campaign targets are shown ("Other blazars").

Each plot shows two light curves: the object (red) and a control star (green). The latter is used to check possible problems with the comparison star and the overall quality of the photometry. The data presented are one-hour averages.
