Not of This Earth
(Black Widow Records)
We recorded one song - a remake from 'Slice' - for this science fiction compilation of Black Widow records, namely the Doctor Who -based 'Pyramids of Mars'. Other bands include e.g. legendary acts Hawkwind, Candlemass, and Paul Chain.
At the Mountains of Madness vol II (Miskatonic Foundation)
It is a true honour to be included in this excellent
international Doom compilation by Rich Walker´s (also known from
Solstice) Miskatonic Foundation label. The excellent bandlist includes
also Penance, Minotauri, Spiritus Mortis, Mirror of Deception, Icefall,
Dawn of Winter, Voodoo Shock, Thunderstorm, and Cold Embrace. Our track
is called 'Aleister'. To be released...
We are going to bow to one of our greatest influences, Saint Vitus, with a cover of their track 'Dark World' (originally from their last album, 'Die Healing'). The reason we wanted to do this song, is the fact that we actually listened to it when we were starting the band in 1994. The tribute is released by Raven Moon Records, featuring besides us these acts: Paul Chain, Black Manta, Dreaming, Sons of Otis, Earthride, Mirror of Deception, Internal Void, Abdullah, Sea Witch, Violet Vortex, Eternal Elysium, Goatsnake, Ogre, Tummler, Mood, October, Northwinds, The Black, Dragonauta, Sour Vein, and Voodoo Shock. Not yet released, it is doubtful if it ever will. Our track is going to appear on the Slice of Doom Revisited compilatiom from PsycheDOOMelic Records.
This collection, brought to you by Hungarian/Austrian Psychedelic Fanzine, led by Hegedüs Márk, came out with the issue #8 of the Zine. Our 'Funeral Summer' is included as a concluding number. Contact: psychedeliczine@hotmail.com
Our friends from the Greece, the doomsters of Violet Vortex led by Saint Spirus, released a small compilation of some Doom and a couple of stoner bands. We come up with our track 'Doom Over the World', one of our more NWOBHM oriented songs. Burning riffage straight from Hellhole! Other bands include e.g. Violet Vortex, Mirror of Deception, and Spirit Caravan. It kind of feels good to be on a same disk with Scott Weinrich! Contact: stone_bunny@hotmail.com
