Katri's day: Personal & Club Record in Testrun
Weather has been warm and rainy here in Turku during last weeks, which offered perfect running ground and climate in Paimio, when we had tesrun on 25.11. November seem to be good runningmonth for me; last year I did my personal best by 53 sec and now I was running 51 sec faster than last year... Testrun is 8,5km and my time 33.22.

Rastitreffit and National Team info-camp
Finnish O-Gala Rastitreffit was in Caribia, which is a name of a spahotel in Turku and unfortunately doesn't mean Caribean Islands...
In O-Gala the best orienteers of the year 2006 were awarded. The best orienteer in Finland was the World, European, Finnish and Distric Champion in long distance Jani Lakanen.
At the same time there was also the new National teams' first camp, which included information of next year's program, new powertest, Sport psycologist's lesson and Rastitreffi Sprintrace.
I am selected to the B-national team, where is 5 women and 7 men. That means together with club camps almost 100 days travelling in the training camps, qualifications and International comepetitions (hopefully Nordic&World Champs and World cup) during the following season.
The weekend as whole was very nice.
