EreWEGo and Muzzers' AI Mod for Sensible Soccer 2006 - Rev 1 - 9/01/07 ------------------------------------------------------------ Listed below are the changes/tweaks to our AI mod. Enjoy! :-) 9/01/07 Changes: * Fixed the "kickoff/free kick glitch" where the AI would often fumble the ball * Tweaked the kick speed bar to allow players a little more time to add aftertouch to their kicks * Gave sprint speed a slight increase to aid a little in getting by defenders, although players with good ratings will still close you down! * Kicking made harder - no more kicking full power straight at goalies from just outside thepenalty are for a nearly guaranteed goal! You can now kick too hard, sending the ball over the crossbar, so you have to use more skill with power and aftertouch, also the goalies are better at defelcting the power/straight at them shots. NOTE: It is HIGHLY recommended that you turn OFF the "shot/kick direction arrows" under settings in game - this makes things a little more challenging, as well as giving the game a bit more of a classic "sensi" feel EreWEGo and Muzzers' AI Mod for Sensible Soccer 2006 ---------------------------------------------------- Hi all, here it is, a new AI mod for Sensible Soccer 2006. This mod has been a collaborative effort from Muzzer and myself,combining what we think are the best parts of all the previous mods, along with some new features we have discovered. Basically, we wanted a more challenging game from SS 2006, without losing playability, and this is what we set out to achieve with this mod. Many hours have been spent changing and testing settings, here are some of the new features: * Master Game Pace - The overall speed of the game has been increased, creating more tense and exciting matches, without it feeling like a game of "pong" :-) * Players can now lose control of the ball, (no "sticky feet") * Tougher AI - The AI will pressure you more, are harder to evade, and can avoid your tackles better. * Back pass - you can now pass back to the goalies again, (they're still not the brightest, so make sure you pass back pretty much directly to them, not from a severe angle etc) * Sprinting harder - sprint bar depletes faster, so use it carefully! Also, the sprint has been reduced, so you will only be a little faster than the AI. * More powerful headers, long throw ins,and free kicks and corners have been tweaked. * Adjusted fouls, red cards, and yellow cards - no more flurry of yellows! :-) * Harder to sucessfully slide tackle * Adjusted defensive player positions to put more pressure on attacking team. * Slightly bigger ball - purely for fun :-) I'm sure there's more, as Muzzer and I tweaked and adjusted many aspects of the game, but they are the main changes. It may take a few games to get used to the pace of the matches, and kicking, tackling, sprinting etc,but it's worth it in our opinion.
