    Web of Things as Interoperability layer:<\/h4>\n<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

    August 2017 – To Date: working on an application server for the web of things which allows the interoperbility of Internet of Things through a standard thing description from different standards organizations.<\/p>\n

      Interoperability of Internet of Things<\/h4>\n

      January 2016 – August 2017, Working on architecture of Internet of Things and achieving interoperability at different layers in Internet of Things. Working in IoT4Health <\/a>project (InterSys) as a lead developer of the system.<\/li>\n

    2. \n

      Middleware for Interoperability of Internet of Things<\/h4>\n

      June 2014 \u00a0– December 2015 (MSc Thesis), Lightweight Internet of Things Service bus, developed in C for RIOT OS and customized from Network on Terminal (NoTA). It is extended to make it a comprehensive middleware, renamed as InterSys. \u00a0Will have support for many RTOS and network protocols.<\/li>\n

      Service Client for windows<\/h4>\n

      March 2015 – April 2015, Developed with phyton and runs on windows to synchronize\u00a0to a REST service updates collected from the local computer. It was done for a start up and the details are left out.<\/li>\n

      DVFS Calculator for Embedded Systems design<\/h4>\n

      November 2013, designed and developed a C# application with Embedded RavenDb document database that helps in designing an energy efficient embedded system based on DVFS (Dynamic Voltage and Frequency Scaling)<\/li>\n

    5. \n

      Mobile Sales System<\/h4>\n

      February 2013 – April 2013, Design a system for DKT Ethiopia for a mobile point of sale (POS) system which synchronize data over a GSM network. Handle held device having a barcode reader and running on Windows CE.<\/li>\n

    6. \n

      University Information System<\/h4>\n

      Novermber 2012 – June 2013, Consultant for the University of Gondar in the process of acquiring a university automation system. Specification preparation and management of the evaluation process.<\/li>\n

    7. \n

      Value Added USSD Services<\/h4>\n

      May 2013 – July 2013, A USSD service and a web based value added service for rating different services (restaurants, bars, … etc) in Addis Ababa for GEEZ network technologies, Using ASP.net MVC<\/li>\n

    8. \n

      Access for Scientific Knowledge in Africa (ASKIA)<\/h4>\n

      February 2012 – January 2013, For the United Nations Economic Commission for Africa (UNECA) as web developer using Drupal to implement a federated serch service for various scientific documents and also Android based mobile version of the system.<\/li>\n

      Resource Management System<\/h4>\n

      September 2010 – December 2011, Application developer for Johns Hopkins University AIDS resource center, Ethiopia, using MS SQL Server, ASP.net, Silverlight<\/li>\n

      Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP)<\/h4>\n

      September 2009 – September 2010, Cybersoft as a member of a team to develop an ERP system based on the existing local systems. Involved in the design and architecture specification of the system, C#, MS SQL server and ASP.net<\/li>\n

      Financial Systems<\/h4>\n

      October\u00a02008 – August 2009, Moved to another team in the same company to develop a Financial system using same technology (C#, SQL server). Participated in system specification for other projects also.<\/li>\n

    12. \n

      Supply Chain System<\/h4>\n

      March 2007 – September 2008, worked as a team leader for a team of three, in Cybersoft, to develop a supply chain system using C#, WCF, SQL server that later evolved to be ASP based application. Worked with TFS for source control.<\/li>\n

    13. \n

      University Information System<\/h4>\n

      August 2006 – February 2007, worked as a developer for University Information System team at Cybersoft using C#, MS SQL server and participated in the process of deployment and transition.<\/li>\n

      GSM Cell Planning Software<\/h4>\n
