I am a Senior Research Fellow at the Department of Physics and Astronomy, University of Turku, Finland. My research interests include astrophysical transients such as core-collapse supernova explosions that mark the end of the life cycles of massive stars, and their usage as cosmological probes of the star formation history of the Universe.
