Children & Family Mental Well-being in Healthcare (CFMWH), 2025-2028

Children & Family Mental Well-being in Healthcare (CFMWH) is an Erasmus+ funded project that strengthens the capacity of healthcare professionals in Estonia, Finland and Italy to address child and family mental well-being in medical settings. The project develops care pathways, training and a digital learning course to integrate family-focused approaches into primary care, hospitals and outpatient clinics. By enhancing the competencies of healthcare workers, the project supports the Erasmus+ objective of aligning vocational education and training (VET) with evolving labour market needs.

The project will create practical tools and learning resources together with professionals and parents to ensure they meet real needs. These materials will be tested in healthcare environments to support long-term use and adoption.

By introducing care pathways, training modules and a digital e-course, the project strengthens the skills of healthcare professionals and provides families with accessible support materials. The results contribute to a broader European effort to embed family mental well-being into vocational education and training.
