My research focuses on family demography and fertility, family policies, wellbeing of parents and children, time use patterns in families and gender equality. I am interested in social differences\u00a0manifested in various fields of family life and mechanisms involved. My background is in demography and sociology, including a long period of\u00a0employment as a researcher at the Population Research Institute, V\u00e4est\u00f6liitto.
