Research Interests:

EATCS council election statement:

My goals are to work with the other council members to promote theoretical computer science in Europe at large. Computer science should have the same level of recognition as other sciences, and theoretical computer science should be understood to be an essential part of CS studies at all levels of education. I also want to emphisize the importance of discrete mathematics within TCS and beyond.

I would work to maintain ICALP as the leading conference of theoretical computer science, and to advance the level of smaller specialized events. Through increased visibility of EATCS, I want to attract new generations of members to the organization.

Past Conferences Organized:

JAC 2010

Journées Automates Cellulaires
Turku, Finland, December 15-17, 2010

Unconventional Computation 2011
