This male Mallard has apparently had his tail in water during the first
had frost night. In the morning it has about 1kg of ice on it.
A fortnight later the same site showed a bird without a tail. I reckon it
was the same individual.

Aamulla sitten pyrstössä oli kilo jäätä. Pari viikkoa myöhemmin samalta paikalta löytyi
pyrtötön sinisorsa. Kyseessä lienee ollut sama lintu.
