I prepared an Excel file to analyze profitability (in NPV / IRR terms) of a solar panel purchase. I hope that this model is helpful for all others who might also consider making the same kind of purchase. The model should be flexible enough to suit any country, but it is prepared with starting values that reflect my purchase here in Finland.
